Pre-loved Rides

These are rally-tested and TNT (tried-n-true) routes the club loves. Click on the links in RED to open the Ride with GPS link. We use Ride with GPS to map our routes - CLICK HERE for tips on switching map style to other platforms.

50cc Ride – top speed 30 mph

Short and sweet. 30 minutes total riding time without stops, 9 miles total

Twist ‘n Go Ride – top speed 45 mph

1 hour total riding time – no stops planned – 29 miles total

Coffee Shop Run – tops speed 45mph

This ride stops at Nokomis Beach Coffee / Mel-o-Glaze donuts and then at Keg & Case in Saint Paul. You may find some rough roads along parkways and road construction. There’s a very  steep hill in St. Paul for about ¼ mile.

This ride passes six local lakes and the Mississippi River, U of M campus, and spends some time on the scenic Theodore Wirth Parkway.

Record Store Run –50cc friendly

This ride stops at 3 record stores in the area. We ran it with 30 minutes for each stop:

  • Down in the Valley – Golden Valley – part of a local chain, tons of new releases, great for special orders, headshop, memorabilia, knick-knacks

  • Mill City Sound, Hopkins independent shop with kind, welcoming staff, huge Used collection, large collection of 45s

  • Electric Fetus, Stevens neighborhood in Minneapolis - the most famous of our local shops, packed with clothes, memorabilia and a broad collection of used and new music.

Minneapolis Music Ride - 50cc friendly

Paisley Park, Prince’s private estate and production complex in Chanhassen, Minnesota offers fans of the late music icon the unprecedented opportunity to tour the legendary 65,000-square-foot complex that served as the center of Prince's creative universe. (must purchase tickets online in advance)

Saint Paul Coffee & Donuts Run - grab some donuts & then cruise across the iconic “high bridge” to Saint Paul’s West Side neighborhood for coffee and a lovely ride back to the hotel. 50cc friendly.

Minneapolis Coffee & Donuts Run - pick up some pastries at a great family-run bakery, then zip over to one of our favorite coffee shops, Mojo Coffee Gallery - a big supporter of the Twin Cities scooter community. 50cc friendly.

Downriver to Mendota Ride - not for 50cc scoots

Follow the Mississippi River down to Mendota, one of the first permanent settlements in Minnesota, located at the juncture of the Minnesota River.  Take in the view from Big Rivers Trail Overlook and then return via Historic Summit Avenue, the best preserved, and longest, example of the Victorian monumental residential boulevard in the country.    Not 50cc friendly.
