2025 Land of 10k Scoots Ride Info

Making a quick escape…

Henry Cavill making a getaway in The Man from U.N.C.L.E., have scooter, will make it.

  • Click here for more about Rider Safety, including diagrams and info from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.

Each of our rides begins with a safety talk. We will review our club’s practices and expectations. We encourage proper riding gear: helmet, eye protection, gloves, close-toed shoes, and jacket.

We want everyone to have an enjoyable and safe ride regardless of your experience level. Feel unsure? Reach out! We’re all safer when we help each other.

  • Keep an eye out for Ride Staff in safety vests during each ride. In the Twin Cities we do not block traffic (please don’t get our Prez in trouble! They get to take responsibility for us all!).

The ride leader, sweep and mid-ride staff will work to keep you safe and on-route. Make sure you can always see a Ride Staffer during your ride.

EVENTS

  • Mayhem on the roads, dapper duds always! We’re doin’ it up with a costume contest this year. Bring your best dapper duds, mobster swag, mafioso mashups and see who brings home the Moonshiner’s trophy.

FRIDAY RIDES

  • Kicking off from GoMoto (3346 N Washington Ave, Mpls, MN 55412) and ending at Scooterville (904 S 19th Ave, Mpls, Mn 55404)

Join us for a titillating spin through the metro, pressing up close to that voice in your head that asks, “Should I? or shouldn’t I?”

Toe-ing the line between should-I/shouldn’t-I, play with danger

  • Starting as Scooterville riders will set off on a scavenger adventure “visiting” significant sites of mobster history around the metro.

  • My jacket’s going to be cut slim and checked

Maybe a touch of seersucker with an open neck

I ride a GS scooter with my hair cut neat

I wear my wartimes coat in the wind and sleet

    The Who, I’ve Had Enough

SATURDAY RIDES

  • Blowing this pop stand and making out way into the veritable hinterlands of Wisconsin. Think speed, think scenery, think… we still get a lunch break!

Departing Rock Island Swing Bridge, mid-ride stop in Mondovi, WI and making our way back to Concord Lanes to meet up and swap adventure stories.

  • Departing Rock Island Swing Bridge for an adventure off to Stillwater. Farm country, winding roads, antiques! Mid-day stop in Stillwater proper and then winding our way back to Concord Lanes for the scooter games and shenanigans.

  • For the petite-of-engine, we are kicking off from Cuppa Java. No need to stretch those pistons just to get to our meetup spot. Together we’ll snoop around and wind our way through the chic, historic and less-traveled neighborhoods. The places that are never quite on-the-way, secret gems of architecture, landscaping and views.

We’ll make our mid-ride stop in the Mac-Groveland/Highland area of St. Paul and finish with the rest of our rally pals at Concord Lanes for scooter games!

  • After you win the Slow Race, join the pack for a meandering ride back toward Minneapolis. We’ll be aiming for Pryes Brewing along the Mighty Mississippi. Parking up to take in the Aquatennial Fireworks.

Not a fan of fireworks? No problem! We want to give folks an easy way to come back from Concord Lanes. Peel off from the group any time and have a most beautiful evening.

SUNDAY RIDE

  • Organized and led by the Vespa Club Twin Cities we’ll kick off in the charming Nokomis neighborhood from Nokomis Beach Coffee. The ride will last about 3 hours, including a comfort break and pull into The Howe by 215pm.

One last chance to tell tall tales, sip a cooling beverage and connect with the best scooter people. To accommodate a group our size The Howe will be adding a 20% gratuity to all checks in our group (sure makes it easier to not have to calc it out at the end).

Then it’s hugs-n-kisses and adios! Can’t wait to see you at the next rally <3
